France Votes For Unicorns And Bunnies

Responsibility is bitter, and the French have decided to spit it out and vote for unicorns and bunnies instead.  Hollande defeated Sarkozy and is promising all sorts of spending and soaking the rich.  In short, they’re about to enjoy some Obama and just like us, they can’t afford it.

If at this point Hollande does control government to a degree where no one can stop him until they’re utterly disgusted with him, there’s no call for him to moderate.  The left isn’t just talking and they’re more than happy to take huge left turns, especially if Hollande has a mandate for it in France.  If Hollande is a socialist true believer, there’s going to be some real pain there before its over.

Businesses in particular may not want to cooperate.  Working hard to run a business so they can be soaked for three-quarters of what they make doesn’t give the socialist unicorns and bunnies any practical appeal.  Obama’s certainly not eager to let France help Greece give the world a lesson on how the unsustainable ends.

Get Governor Walker On the Recall Ballot Tomorrow

There’s a detail Professor Jacobson at Legal Insurrection caught that should definitely be brought to light.  If you’re in Wisconsin, you need to vote tomorrow to put Scott Walker on the ballot.  It seems his being on there come June at all isn’t exactly guaranteed.

While I infer from the description there that Walker’s opponent is a loon, going so far as saying the threat is remote is a bit much.  The left in Wisconsin absolutely, positively can’t stand Walker and it would be a serious oversight to put voting for said loon past them.  Given Walker’s success rate, it would be easier to defeat him this way as opposed to running against him in a higher-profile recall fight.

Sneaking out a win would be right up the alley of a bunch of people who have fleebagging to their ‘credit.’  If you’re in Wisconsin, get out and vote.

Mourdock Up By Ten Over Lugar

It’s not over until the votes are tallied, but it looks like we’ll get to thank the Hoosiers for regaining some RINO control momentum here soon.  Mourdock is up by ten over Lugar and Lugar can’t be too happy about it.  He’s fallen far from his 20% and change lead.

Reports of the demise of the Tea Party have been greatly exaggerated.

So now that we’ve been reminded by the Hoosier cells of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy that we’re all still in the game, it’s time to get back to it.  Show up and vote for Mourdock if you’re in Indiana.  Back up Walker and those in the recalls in Wisconsin.  Visit the Senate Conservatives Fund.  Despite the screwups of establishment Republican leadership in Congress, conservatives still deserve your support.  They are trying to lead.

Happy To Help Pile On To Eric Cantor

I can’t believe I have to share a state with this idiot.

I suppose it wasn’t much of a surprise given two years of the ‘leadership’ shown in the House which side of the grassroots-establishment conflict he was going to take.  It wasn’t enough for his Young Guns outfit to try and keep Lugar in the Senate.  Now he’s at it again in North Carolina.  So if you’re like me and would like to support a conservative candidate while poking Cantor in the eye, politically speaking, there’s good news for you.

Scott Keadle is the guy Cantor is trying to defeat.  He could certainly use your support if only to get on Cantor’s nerves.  Good Republican representatives who played ball with their leadership led us to such wonderful things as 2006, and we really don’t need any more of them.
