No jokes now, folks.  It’s zero flak time.

McCain is at it again with yet another Democrat, and he’s really done it this time.  He’s co-sponsored a bill with Senator Levin that, among other things, allows the military to indefinitely detain terrorists, including US citizens on US soil.  While it may be that McCain has become yet another soon-to-be expended idiot of a Democrat and bought that this bill is justifiable and necessary, in the hands of Obama its a nightmare waiting to happen.

The TSA started as something well intentioned too.  Compared to this, they are a triviality.

This is indefinite detention without due process by the military allowable on American citizens.  The potential for abuse is very real.  Remember Holder and all the ‘well I don’t care and no one will stop me’ things done by Obama to date?  With this, the potential exists that ‘terrorist’ can replace the race card with Obama and have teeth.  I remind everyone of Fast and Furious and what it was intended to do (create a justification for more gun control) if you don’t think that can happen here under Obama.

Kill enemy combatants.  Leave Americans due process, however irritating it may be when given to the truly vile.  This much leeway can be abused, and McCain has blown it big before (Feingold-McCain, Kennedy-McCain, Whichever Other Democrat Feels Like Rolling Him-McCain).  This will be no different except in the size of the screw-up.

Addendum:  Want another example of McCain’s genius?  How about the whole Muslim Brotherhood can’t win in Egypt prediction?  They just nearly swept the election into power.  Elder statesman in his own mind.
