Ok, I concede that when it comes to destroying the Republican Party, John McCain is second to none and has much room to comment. I’m also forced to admit that his presidential campaign is the defining standard of campaign incompetence in my lifetime, which only adds to his Republican-destroying credibility. Given these two, its obvious that the man is truly accomplished and utterly credible on the subject of Republican party squashing. If he was a Democrat, he would be a legend instead of the MSM’s expended idiot.
You can watch the video of him commenting on the House here if you’re so inclined. He would sound like someone making sense if you didn’t consider his maverick years and his role in Obama getting elected. In short, he’s part of the actual problem and so doesn’t merit much thought.
Now on to more practical concerns.
Whatever is happening on the payroll tax bill was either caused by a lack of coordination between Boehner and McConnell or the Senate RINOs trying to force House conservatives to do things their way. Whatever it is, the Republicans genuinely need to get a grip yesterday. Reid and Obama are running rings around them and have been all year. The gamesmanship on the payroll tax cut bill, presuming it’s anything other than just plain chaos, is going to leave a mark.
