Hey, How About Another $50 Billion in Stimulus?

This is beyond the pale.

Obama is proposing another stimulus.  $50 billion for roads and infrastructure to help create jobs which he would fund with what is effectively a tax hike on job producers.  He also attacked the Republicans and threw in some more ‘Blame Bush’ for good measure.

After the failure of the $787 billion dollar Non-Stimulus Stimulus, how does he think this will fly?  He can’t point to any results from the last stimulus he passed beyond an increase in the debt.  However, we can point to the job-killing uncertainty bills like this create, most notably with the passage of Obamacare.

By the way, where did that $787 billion dollars go?  Why weren’t we building roads out of that funding if this was so important?  If we are building and repairing roads out of the last stimulus, why do it again?  It’s not as though we didn’t incinerate enough good money to make it happen to some degree.  Did posting all of those signs eat it up?

Here’s a better thought.  How about we kill the next $50 billion dollar boondoggle and say we spent it anyway?  It’s so much cheaper a way to go.
