No joking.  Gunman James Jay Lee held hostages at the Discovery Channel office until he was shot dead according to some reports today.  The reason?  He had a manifesto of things he wanted the Discovery Channel to broadcast regarding his vision for saving the environment.

Michelle Malkin has the list of them up at her site, and it is well off the deep end.  At least he got his wish, and reduced the world’s population by one before he killed someone.  Or rather, someone did it for him.

I’m not going to blame anyone for this loon’s actions, but I am going to wonder aloud how some on the left live with creating hysterics from all that irresponsible eco-hyperbole.  Some people actually do believe it, and they panic over it.  Perhaps some few might then go too far.
