Anthony Weiner in Libspeak

Anthony Weiner is very upset.  A piece of legislation he wanted to pass before his majority was wiped out didn’t get anywhere in the House today.  So, he went to the floor and threw a hissy fit.  The only way it could be a worse day for him is if we were to address the “substance” of his tirade in libspeak.

1.)  Clearly, Anthony Weiner is suffering from a conundrum due to his epistemic liberal closure of thought.  The geo-socio-political landscape of the country at large does not match his illusionary world view, and his response to the contradiction has moved him to predictable anger.  We understand, and if he asks one of us nicely, we may even go and fetch his teddy bear.

2.)  Such rages are indicative of the ideological bankruptcy of the left.  They have no ideas, so they scream.  It’s just so bourgeois.  Say it with me…boooooo-zhwaaaaaaa.  Bask in the French-word saying awesomeness and know you are superior.

3.)  We should practice more civility and bipartisanship.  The country wants comity and understanding as we reach across the aisle to give conservatives everything they want.  Perhaps someday, when Weiner can pronounce words with multiple syllables, he will realize this truth.

If you don’t want to watch the video at the link above, here’s the executive summary:

AAAAUUUUUGGGGHHHH!

And remember, libspeak is more fun when you use it to describe liberals right back.

Addendum, 7/31/2010: If you would prefer a more substantive response, or more info as to why I would joke about Weiner and his “well-justified” rages, Nice Deb has a good one.

  1. Typical republican mentality. Sure Weiner lost it, but for crying out loud ,he did it to heget medical support for those wonderful people whoe partook in the rescue on9/11 and if an illegal went to recue then he too should be compensated. What short memories the idiotic right has. How conveniently they forget Wilson’s “YOU LIE ” . and that other creep who called congressman Stupak a baby killer. What a double standard these creeps have.

  2. If it was so important, why the games?

The Democrats, who found this so important, played procedural games. They decided they didn’t want to vote on Republican amendments, so they used a procedure to block them. The down side is that it required a 2/3 vote after that procedure to pass.

The Democrats had a majority. It could have passed without Republicans at all if they didn’t want to play games. Instead, they got their majority but not their 2/3, but they got their sound bite with Weiner. The 9/11 victims? What do the Democrats care when they can grandstand?

Hence my amusement at Weiner’s temper-tantrum.
