Yes folks, this is a beautiful moment in history.  Hezbollah’s view in the White House Press Corps herself, Helen Thomas, has retired in disgrace after anti-semitic remarks about the Jews leaving Palestine to go home.  The whackadoodle has left the building.

Deeply regretting her comments didn’t help.  I guess at some point, you can make the White House Press Corp look too stupid and biased to be protected.  And her front row center seat at today’s press briefing was not occupied.  I’m pretty sure they could replace her with a stuffed horse’s rear in the future if that happens, and at the very least, it would improve the speaker’s view.

For those of you on the other side that don’t seem to get it:  Israel is our ally.  More importantly, they’re not causing the problem.  The Palestinians are.  They don’t get along with anyone in the region.  Like the Jordanians, who won’t let them cross into their country due to that small incident where Arafat tried to overthrow their government.  But, they’re useful in annoying Israel, so everyone else there pretends they like them just the same.

Good riddance to Thomas.  It’s a small victory, but I’ll take it.
