Well, the protesting of Arizona’s immigration law are still in full swing.  We have immigration bracelets.  We have sanctuary cities disallowing employee visits in their most sanctimonious rhetoric.  And most importantly, we have gringo masks!  So, to contribute to this absurdity in some small way, it’s time to suggest a new and never-considered alternative to pressuring Arizona until they give in and crack.

It’s very simple.  If you’re an illegal living in Arizona, leave.  That’ll show ‘em!

That’s right.  All you illegals and amnesty advocates saying that they contribute more to the economy than they take can put your feet where your mouth is.  Just pack up and head back to your country of origin, or to the country of origin of those you’re supporting, whatever it may be.  Yes, a lot of you are from Mexico, but no one’s making assumptions.  That would be insensitive.

So every immigration lawyer, illegal immigrant, border-crossing criminal, and liberal protester type:  just get up and go.  Imagine the horrifying consequences of your loss.  Why, what will their hospitals, courthouses, prisons, and social services offices do without you?  They’ll be begging for your return in no time.

So show Arizona what for.  Get out of the state, the country, or even off the planet.  They’ll wish they’d never tried to prosecute you for breaking the law before you forget how to get back.  Really.
