I’d like to take this moment to give my regards to Ben Bernanke, Fed Chairman and latest stepping stone in McCain’s frenzy to get re-elected.

Presuming Hayworth can be bothered to officially enter the Arizona primary race, McCain has a real problem beating him.  So, in the tradition of using conservatives for stepping stones to his media darling-hood and “maverick” credentials, he singled out someone else.  Bernanke is up next to lie in the dirt so that McCain’s electoral feet never need touch the ground.  In other words, McCain has taken the position that he wants him gone.
