I would like to see Scott Brown elected in Massachusetts in the hopes of stopping the destruction of American health care for the greater glory of Obama. On a more fun note, the event could make everyone who thought highly of Ted Kennedy explode. Possibly literally.
It would certainly help put a stop to this run-on Democrat nightmare if he’s enough of a conservative to help out. But, there are a few things he should consider.
- The grassroots are fired up and helping him now. If he doesn’t happen to want our help, then he should by all means keep that video endorsement by John McCain on his web page. The Mavericky One is arguably the most despised RINO in the Republican party today. Brown really needs to think twice about appearing to be a McCain Republican.
- If Brown is a McCain Republican, he should consider this. The establishment Republicans deserted him. The establishment Republicans may or may not bother to get him re-elected. We will, if he doesn’t pull a Specter or Snowe on us. If he does so, he’ll be on his own come the next election cycle, and perhaps he too will have the opportunity to give a tearful suspension of campaign press release like Scozzafava in NY-23.
Yes, he could win it. If he does, he should remember who made it happen, or it won’t happen twice.
