What’s In It For You?

No jokes now folks, it’s zero flak time.

I know Obamacare is the talk of the Internet right now, and I’m interested in it too.  But some new things are appearing on the horizon that concern me, not the least of which is the new amnesty bill which was just introduced in the House.  I could go through the old arguments, but I’m not today.

Instead, I’m going to bottom line it.

I know why the Democrats want amnesty, and it has nothing to do with fairness, human decency, or compassion.  It has to do with them gaining a new voting block of Hispanics.  The good news for Hispanics, however, is that they can see what happens in advance when someone gives the Democrats the kind of loyalty they want in exchange for their “compassion”, because others have gone before.

Want to know what’s in it for you if you happen to accept Democrat “gifts”?  How about a look…

1. First, the Democrats pump a pernicious sense of entitlement into your head.  They do that with everyone (it’s what the entitlement programs are about), it’s just that you’re up next.
2. Then, you become dependent on government.  Don’t believe me?  Look at places like Detroit, where the Democrats have held sway for decades.  Their voting block is pretty much on the dole and little else.
3. Then, you stay that way so long you don’t know anything else anymore, and neither will your children or grandchildren.  The Democrats are certainly not going to tell them.  In fact, they’ll fill you full of rhetoric to reinforce your new and improved mentality.  Again, see the inner cities as an example of generational dependency.
4. Your barely-tolerable living condition will make you angry, and the Democrats will exploit them to motivate you by saying they’ll make everything right.  They’ve said it to various segments of the African-American community for four decades running.  I’m sure those living in the inner cities believe they’ve delivered on their promises.
5. Once every two years, you’ll serve the only purpose the Democrats believe you have.  You’ll get bussed to the polls, where you’ll vote for them because they’re “the only ones that care” and because the other guys are “racist”.  You won’t even think twice about it, and you won’t even consider doing otherwise.
6. If someone tells you there’s another way, like us conservatives, we’ll get excoriated.  Those few of you that believe us and try to make more of yourselves than the Democrats wish you to be will stop being “authentically Hispanic” and treated like trash, a la Clarence Thomas.  You’ll effectively enforce the Democrat power theory on yourselves and any one of your community that tries to escape it.
7. Of course, the Democrats will never own up to any of this.  They’ll always have an excuse as to why your circumstances are not their fault…or yours.  How about Baltimore blaming Wells Fargo for its problems as an example?   It’s called the victim mentality, which is an easy way to think, but a horrific trap.

The African-Americans vote 95% Democrat.  In exchange, they’re taken for granted, and those few that see their circumstances for what they are and try to escape them get attacked for it.  Research their predicament for yourself, and decide if this vision of hell is what you want, because that’s what they’re planning for you.

That’s all the amnesty is about.  Making you another 95% voting block while keeping you as a serf class.  And the SEIU gets your dues as new union members, which makes it doubly nasty.  Everything else they’re telling you about it is a fantasy.
