Can We Toss Dan Rather Out Now?

By Ryan • on September 29, 2009

reporter2As reported by Hot Air:  An appellate court has tossed out Dan Rather’s suit against CBS.

I don’t see how the man has room to complain.  CBS had to accelerate his compensation to fire him.  In other words, he got his salary to the end of the contract before he was shown the door.  Do you think that if you had screwed up as badly at your job as he did in his that you would have been paid a lot of money before being fired?  Me either.

So my next question is:  Can we toss Dan Rather out now?

Seriously, can’t the guy just go away?  I don’t like Bush, but the report Rather gave about him that got the anchorman fired was not remotely warranted.  Furthermore, it was almost certainly deliberate.  So this guy needs to take his shattered credibility and begone.

What if nothing exists and we're all in somebody's dream? Or what's worse,
what if only that fat guy in the third row exists?
