Since Obama has chosen to attack those of us “causing” the fray in the health care debate, it’s time to call him on one of the favorite tricks Democrats use.  It’s the trick where he appears to be above the fray when he’s causing so much of it.  And yes, he is causing much of it.

They’re not union thugs, astroturf, and ACORN causing the trouble.  They’re Obama’s union thugs, astroturf, and ACORN.  They’re Obama’s namecalling, scare tactics, and marginalization.  It’s being done on Obama’s behalf by his minions while he stands “above it all” and tries to look like the only adult in the room, but make no mistake.  It is his.

Clinton did a lot of this “above the fray” posturing.  It was just as annoying with him.  Whether or not it will work this time remains to be seen.
