So NOW He Wants to Talk Security?

teleprompthumbLet me get this straight.

Obama and the Democrats legislated a redefinition of 9/11.  He’s sending Holder after CIA interrogators who were doing their jobs protecting the country simply to feed his base.  He campaigned on shutting down Gitmo.  His party spent Bush’s two terms undermining the war effort for their political gain without any consideration of the damage it might do to America.

But they’re all about Internet security?  What a load of baloney.

I have yet to see any liberal, save Lieberman, acknowledge the existence of any enemy threat since Obama was inaugurated.  They sure weren’t doing it under Bush.  However, they’re all about their one and only one truly hated enemy:  We folks out here on the right.

If Rockefellar’s bill is passed, the government will have control over “critical networks”.  It’s not hard to figure out who’s going to be on those “critical networks”.  The new FCC chief is all about localism, which is backdoor censorship of talk radio disguised as a diversity initiative.  But getting rid of talk radio isn’t going to help if those hosts can come to the Internet and start over here.  Not productive, unless the government has control of the Internet too.

The Democrats want their media monopoly back.  Obama’s doing something about it under one guise after the other.  That’s the bottom line.

My Vote for The Ted Kennedy Memorial Bill

flag_dogIt’s already started.  Ted Kennedy wasn’t dead for a day when we were getting suggestions for memorial Disastercare and amnesty.  Well, seeing as how I’m seriously warped, I want to join in on the fun.

I’d love to help memorialize Ted Kennedy.  We could make history, and we could do it together.  Here’s my vision:

  1. We go through Ted Kennedy’s legislative accomplishments and find out which of them are disasters.  I suspect it’s a long list.
  2. Then, we put the repeal for them in one large bill, the Ted Kennedy Apology Bill.
  3. We pass the bill through Congress where everyone gets to stand up and say how great Ted Kennedy was, right before Obama signs it in a rose garden ceremony for the ages.
  4. Everyone wins.  Ted Kennedy gets his name on a bill which changes the country for the better.  The Democrats get to say how great he was, and the Republicans get to capitulate without screwing up for once.

What, you think my suggestion is tasteless?  Well, that’s the best part!  Mine is a suggestion fit for a Wellstone memorial, which the Democrats love so dearly.  So let’s get to it, America!  Call your representative and ask for the Ted Kennedy Apology Bill today!

Never let a good crisis go to waste.

Silly Rabbit, Reality is For the Little People

gopherWE DO NOT DO REALITY IN THE EPA!

At least, I’m thinking that’s what their motto should be.  It would seem they’re trying to get rid of one of their internal auditing offices.  Obama and his goons just can’t stand their watchdogs, can they?

Silly rabbit.  Reality is for the little people.  The EPA has bigger concerns, like so over-regulating the US economy that our GDP can be counted on the fingers of one hand.  Perhaps they can also force every American to stick a meter up their noses so they can tax us on our exhalation.  They have to bring the Earth’s temperature down by 1/100 of a degree, you know.  Save the planet from global warming…uh, climate change!  (Psst.  What we’re we calling it today?)

And just because I can, I’m going to play the Chris Simcox Drinking GameChris Simcox, if you don’t already know, is McCain’s primary opponent in Arizona this year.  As a fellow believer in global warming, McCain had this coming.  No, he didn’t actually agree with the EPA’s move, just it’s Kool-Aid.

Ted Kennedy’s Passing

I’m reporting on this because it’s newsworthy.  Ted Kennedy has died due to complications arising from his brain tumor.  As I have little nice to say about the man, I will refrain from speaking any more in the matter.

The Democrats, of course, are already politicizing this.  Think Wellstone memorial, only with more socialism.  Suggestions that they rename the health care bill after Kennedy are already flying.

Man alive.
