Obama is the Greatest…

…community organizer I’ve ever seen.

Ok, get the booing out of your system.  I know what you’re thinking.  Obama is miserable.  Obama screws up everything he touches.  What the heck were you thinking when you published this?  Were you thinking at all?  Did you sell out?

Nope, I’m giving genuine kudos to a man for a real talent.  Obama is the best community organizer I’ve ever seen.  Seriously, have you ever seen anyone generate so much grassroots participation in democracy as we’ve seen with Obama?

No one, and I mean no one, has ever motivated so many people to get out for the first time and protest policies than has Obama.  We didn’t even require leadership to get started.  We all just got wound up and got to it.  It’s grassroots.  It’s organic.  I suppose Obama would even be happy about it, if he wasn’t the one being protested.

They’re protesting Obamacare in San Fransisco, for crying out loud.  It takes real skill to get them to protest a Democrat there!  Real skill and talent, I tell you!  And the man doesn’t even look like he’s trying.

The Republicans can’t motivate conservatives this much.  Mostly, they just motivate them to stay home on election day or protest vote, which is a specialty of John McCain.  But Obama?  He has us active and participating by the thousands, and if he keeps it up, possibly by the millions.

So, I’m going to reach across the aisle and give credit where credit it due.  When it comes to motivating protesters and community organizing, no one but no one does it like Obama.
