The Official Maverick Lapdog Strikes Again

If you hadn’t already heard, Sotomayor was approved by the Senate Judiciary Committee and sent to the floor for a full confirmation.  All the Republicans voted against her, and all the Democrats voted for her along with the Official Maverick Lapdog, Lindsey Graham (Pomeranian – SC).

Yes, Graham probably did it to not look racist, for all the good it will do him.  His owner’s fellow Democrats will still call him one no matter what he does to appease them.  Not only that, but when one Republican screws up, even misnamed ones like the Official Maverick Lapdog, they all pay.  It’s something they still haven’t learned yet despite 2006 and 2008.

Ok, so I’ll show some pity for McCain.  He’s trying to get re-elected, and he can’t poke conservatives in the eye on his own behalf until he does.  So he’ll just have to live vicariously through the Official Maverick Lapdog in the meantime.  He’s the only Senator in Congress to keep another Senator as a housepet after all, and he can still enjoy that achievement.
