A Modest Proposal for Handling McCain Staffers
I couldn’t stand McCain, but I actually liked Sarah Palin. She might have been something of a newbie on the national scene, but she was conservative. A real one. And now here we are with anonymous McCain staffers trashing her here and there. We can’t really seem to find the ones responsible, and perhaps you might even be one of those feeling stymied about how to handle all of this.
I can sympathize. I’m sick of RINOs and their staffers playing the game of “slap the conservative and get away with it” too. So, I’ve come up with modest proposal for dealing with all these annoying leaks. It’s a very simple thing called COLLECTIVE PUNISHMENT.
Here’s how it work. We may not know the specific staffers who are doing this, but I’m pretty sure we can find out who all of them are. From there, it’s blanket blacklisting. If any candidate, anywhere, hires any of them for any reason, they get the treatment too. No donations, no support, no anything. We treat it like a scandal until they’re fired.
No, this isn’t remotely fair. Cry me a river. Across the past eight years now, and especially with McCain, I’ve been ignored, undermined, spat upon, poked in the eye for puff press, and otherwise maligned by my so-called leaders. If the McCain staffer morons are looking for pity, they need to find someone else. I’ve had enough of this.
Besides, if they’re too scared to comment on record, I can all but guarantee that if this comes to pass, one of them will spill the beans before they suffer any long-term hardship. Then we can just blacklist the ones responsible. And if the RINOs or their staff twits want to play this sort of game in the future, we’ll know what to do.
Such is my modest proposal. Link courtesy of Conservatives4Palin.
Addendum, 7/5/2009: Still squeamish about this? Also consider their job performance. Whether they are guilty or not, or if you despise McCain as much as I do, do you really want what they did for McCain repeated with a candidate worth electing? Show some tough love and keep these losers away from your favorite candidate so they’re not hamstrung by incompetent campaign staffers in 2012.
