McCain Attacks Something From Ted Kennedy?!

It’s been a while since I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to add a post to the Maverick News files.  McCain doesn’t seem to want much sunlight here lately.  And now that he does, it pains me to say that he’s rejoined us in the media by attacking the health care plan named after his fellow Democrat, Ted Kennedy.

I can understand his aggravation, though.  His fellow Democrats are doing all of this stuff he would love to support, but McCain still needs to get himself re-elected.  How it must pain him not to vote with his fellow Democrats on this, escpecially when he co-authored an amnesty bill with the same Ted Kennedy whose health care plan he’s bashing now.

Do you really think he cares about the costs?  It’s not like he cared about them when TARP was up for a vote, or how we would pay those trillions for all the illegals he wanted to let into our borders.  But, he has to play the fiscal conservative card now, because it’s about the only deception he has left.  He can’t exactly run on the good will of his base.

But enough about that.  It’s time to address the plight of the Master Maverick.  Can’t you wicked, short-sighted Democrats take a moment to help out the best inside man you ever had?  He sold his soul for you and your beloved media, for crying out loud!  If you would only wait until he’s deceived enough ordinary conservatives to get himself re-elected in 2010, he’d be back on your side for at least four years!  Plus, he would bring the Official Maverick Lapdog, Lindsey Graham (Pomeranian – SC) with him.

So cut your fellow Democrat a break.  You have time to do all your damage, and you could be doing it with his help.  All that cover of bipartisanship could be yours again, if you just waited.  Not to mention all the conservative eye-gouging he’s going to do that you think is so much fun.
