Paving the Way for Illegals Voting in Georgia

By Ryan • on June 2, 2009

No jokes now, folks.  It’s zero flak time.

Want to know a good way to undermine democracy?  Undermine the voting process.  That’s what Holder just did in Georgia when he repealed the citizenship verification process.  Looks like Chicago is coming to a country near you.

Now, on top of that, ACORN may be involved in the census, and the default judgments against the Black Panthers for voter intimidation were dismissed.  It looks like we have some real tyranny brewing.  Yes, it’s all hidden behind the race card, as the Democrats like to use it profusely, but it’s tyranny nonetheless.  It’s a good, old-fashioned power grab, like happened in places like Cuba, Russia, Germany, Italy, and possibly Venezuela.

It can’t happen here, you think?  A quick bit of history.  No one ever walks up to a podium and announces “We will have tyranny starting today!”  It’s always a gradual process and hidden behind something else.  One little piece of freedom disappears at a time for some manufactured reason or another (in this case, the race card), until you finally realize you’re not free anymore.  By then, things have become too scary for most people to do something about it.

Now’s a good time to head this off.  Later’s going to be much, much harder.

Things will get better despite our efforts to improve them.
