Today’s Pitbull Award: Dick Cheney

I’ll state the obvious again for anyone who’s read my blog, and summarize it for my new readers:  I don’t like the Bush administration.

However, I must give his administration credit where it’s due.  He did get the national defense right.  Very, very right despite the endless shrill background noise of liberalism.  Today, Dick Cheney stood up, defended his record, and flattened one of the liberals responsible while helping to preserve the national defense.

So it is with sincerity that I offer him the second official Pitbull Award from YankMcCain.com.  He’s getting it right, and I really wish he had been the power behind Bush.

California’s Envirofascism Comes to America

Have you ever heard of the California emissions standard, which included actually measuring emissions from the tailpipes of people’s cars?  Well, if you haven’t, you may well soon, since Obama just proposed a nationwide standard for tailpipe emissions.  Throw in a mileage standard that’s supposed to be met by 2016, and next thing you know, we’ll all be living in California.

Minus the sunshine, good times, and other things that actually gave it some redeeming value.  They’ll be plenty of Californian envirofascism though.

The rhetoric behind this is a variation of the same-old song and dance.  It’s along the lines of “Well, it won’t cost all that much” and “It will do a lot”, plus the “You won’t notice the change because you’ll still have your same choices”.  Uh-huh.  I’m sure the entitlements won’t cost all that much either.  Everyone will be spending more for street-legal go-carts is what will happen.

Thank you ever so much for running Obama’s fellow Democrat in 2008, GOP .  Now we’re stuck with Obama for another 3 3/4 years, and that’s if we’re lucky.

Taking Money From the Rich Makes Them Leave

Good news for all you liberal rich-haters.  You have a tried and true way to get rid of the pests now:  tax them out of your states.

That’s right.  If you’re sick of all those pesky rich people, like New York and California, you can get rid of them!  You won’t have to put up with their big cars, big homes, big job creation capacity and support of your tax bases any longer!  I mean, I couldn’t stand it either!

Just use taxes to chase those pesky rich people to low-tax states run by the conservatives that you hate just as much.  It’s absolutely brilliant.  You can inflict those evil rich people on those evil conservative politicians, and then watch with smug satisfaction as they have to live with one another.  Whatever will they do with all that extra money and the extra jobs in their new homes?

So, keep on hating the rich, liberal America!  With a little work, you can get all of them to go away and leave you and your nanny states all alone.
