No jokes now, folks.  It’s zero flak time.

I dish out a fair amount of lunacy on my blog as I comment on the issues of the day, and especially on its namesake.  But this post isn’t the time for it.  Today is Memorial Day, and a time to remember those that fell to defend our country and freedom.  That includes the First Amendment rights I have to run blog as nutty as mine.

I have no problem with the cookouts and vacation time many people will have today.  I have the day off too, and am in fact enjoying it.  Just take a moment to remember why we have this day, and show some gratitude for those we remember on it.
