Obama’s First 100 Days: You Just Have to Laugh

By Ryan • on April 24, 2009

A lot of people like Obama’s job performance, according to a fair number of polls.  But then again, he hasn’t gotten to the good part yet.  By that, I mean the socialist disaster in progress dressed up as Hope and Change policy.

I must concur with one point, though.  Obama is attempting to do exactly what he said he would do.  I don’t like it in the least, and I know where it’s going, but he is trying to keep his promises.

There is that trouble, though, with damaging national security just to tweak a former president your base doesn’t like, and that whole “I can’t stop spending” thing.  Throw in the mob agitation with regards to AIG and capitalism, and you have the makings of a truly epic correction just waiting to happen.  Plus, the only party who might have done something about it is so clueless, weak, and cowed by the press they’d probably self-destruct again if we bothered to rebuild them.

Today, I just have to laugh.  Right now, there’s nothing more I can do but that and hope I survive the wholesale disillusionment I see coming.
