Obama Signs $787 Billion Stimulus Package

I’m only pointing this out because it’s news.

Yes, Obama signed the $787 Billion dollars of “stimulating Democrat electoral chances” bill.  Among other things, it repealed the welfare work requirement reform, which means the bad old days of welfare are about to return.  On the bright side, it did offer the Master Maverick the opportunity to pretend he was a Republican, which he needs to do in order to trick his state into re-electing him in 2010.

The Abomination Passes, Specter Whines

No jokes today, folks.  It’s zero flak time.

The $787 Billion dollar misnamed stimulus bill made it through Congress.  Three RINO senators voted for it, but at least the rest of the party figured it out.  It’s headed for the President’s desk, and it hasn’t even arrived before he stated that much more would be necessary.  Up until now, at least the Presidents actually signed the spending measures before they said they would need more spending measures.

Specter, who is one of the RINOs that voted for this bill, made up some excuses as to how he thought more Republicans actually wanted to support it.  Yes, he’s even more pathetic than I thought.  Feel free to take your guess at whether he’s delusional, making it up, or talking to Snowe or Collins in the comments section.

I suppose Specter thinks everyone will forget it passed come 2010, but I suspect the stagflation will be around to remind them by then.  Stagflation caused by a spending bill that’s not even designed to stimulate the economy. If you’re too young to remember what stagflation is, don’t worry.  Obama is about to add a new word to your vocabulary, and that’s provided he’s only just as bad as Carter.

House Republicans Vote No a Second Time

For the second time in a row, the House Republicans decided to put the well-being of their country first and vote against the giant pork-fest and liberal goodie bill disguised as a “stimulus package” yet again.  Pesky ordinary Representatives.  Don’t they want to be part of the maverick paradigm?

It’s time to do something about it.

I’m sounding the charge right now.  You should send ordinary donations and support to those evil, backwards Republicans.  Torment them with messages like “I hope your re-election campaign succeeds, so there!” or “Don’t make me donate money to your campaign again, you pesky ordinary representative you.”  Let them know the suffering of having to deposit dumptrucks of money in their campaign coffers and constant re-election until they all beg to be yanked back into The Way of The Maverick!

Together, we can snuff out all that pesky patriotism and get back to the kind of self-aggrandizing politics we’ve come to know and love.
