Oh, he’s still in that whole “second look” phase, but I didn’t expect anything this blatant too. Salazar scraps oil-shale leasing outright, which is only the umpteenth slap to the face pro-oil production America has gotten from Obama and his administration so far. I’m sure we’ll all be happy for it when gas is up to the $4/gallon mark again.

Apparently, Obama wants to be Reagan now. I suppose that whole Lincoln thing wasn’t working out for him. The stovepipe hat doesn’t compare to the cowboy duds.
Seriously, how does he decide which President he wants to be at any time? Is there a “Wheel of Presidents” in the Oval Office now? Or an official Presidential dart board with names and faces on it?
Yes, I’ll grant the Master Maverick had the same problem when he invoked Reagan, Lincoln, and Roosevelt in his spat with the NC Republican party, so I’m not singling Obama out. Much. It’s good to see he’s following in the same footsteps as his fellow Democrat McCain. But he could be so much more educational if he would impersonate a President no one knew anything about. How about ”I want to be like Millard Fillmore” day? It would be so great for Millard Fillmore!

Obama just passed a $787 Billion dollar boondoggle that will turn out to be the same kind of failure as TARP. Now, he’s talking about bringing the deficit down. I suspect I’ll be hearing about tax hikes, military cuts, and a large mountain of baloney besides here very soon.
It’s only been a month since he was elected. We’re in for one wild ride.

This is just the news I needed to start my Monday. The $787 Billion dollar boondoggle is going to be administered by a man who can’t open his mouth without putting his foot in it. It would be funny, if it wasn’t so deadly serious.
