Obama’s Budget

More things for Obama to destroy.

After $787 Billion dollars in the non-stimulus stimulus bill, designed primarily to promote his corrosive brand of liberalism, we now have a budget that wants cap-and-trade, a move to socialize medicine, a tax hike in the middle of a recession, and a lot more spending which will accomplish a lot more nothing.  If we’re really lucky, it won’t do anything.  If we’re not, it will destroy quite a bit and make things much, much worse.

I was hoping that we would get lucky, and Obama was just the next Carter.  Sadly, we’re not going to be lucky.  He’s just as destructive as Carter, but he’s far more adept at getting the things he wants.  That means he’s going to inflict some real, nearly-impossible-to-undo pain before he’s gone.  That’s assuming we can get rid of him in 2012 after all the Chicago-style political powerbuilding he can do unimpeded through his term.

Oh, you’ll be historical all right, Obama.  You may well be the end of us.

The Master Maverick is On TV

I heard from Hannity that the Master Maverick himself will be on Hannity tonight, and as his Bestest #1 Maverick Supporter in the Whole Wide World, my first thought was…

Why does this man insist on believing I care what he thinks?

Of course, I’ll grant that he may just be covering his bases.  After eight years of doing anything for his well deserved puff press from the mainstream media, he wants to run the circuit of the conservative mediasphere and gain some adulation from them too.  As I will do anything for his whim, I’ll give him all the maverick adulation he can stand with this:

Don’t go to hell mad, Senator.  Just go to hell.

Time for a Tea Party

No jokes now folks, it’s zero flak time.

The protests of this impossible spending grow in the tea parties.  While the useless Other Democrat Party, occasionally referred to as the Republican Party, are starting to pretend they’re conservative again after causing a lot of this problem, some real conservatives have started protesting.

Watch and take notes, Other Democrats.  We should have been doing this to you for eight years.  Produce another closet socialist, and I won’t wait a single day to hammer them too.

But, But, But…They Passed TARP

The banks are still failing!  What about the endless bailouts?  What about the nationalization?  WASHINGTON KEEPS DOING STUFF, SO WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?!

Oh yeah.  Keynesian economics is a complete and total failure.  Then there was that whole sub-prime mortgage thing.  Finally, there’s the fact our government is currently being run by a pack of fools who somehow managed to be worse than the Republicans, and that’s no small feat.

I’ve about had all the interesting I can stand for this year, and it’s not even March yet
