Ramos and Compean Given Commutations

By Ryan • on January 19, 2009

No jokes now, folks.  It’s zero flak time.

Ramos and Compean were finally given some relief by Bush, and had their sentences commuted.  They’ll be out of prison on March 20th.  While I would have preferred they received a full pardon, I also could have seen the stubborn, amnesty-supporting twit Bush leaving them in there.  I sincerely believed that he would, and I’m glad I was wrong.

I hope things work out for them.

I should have been a country-western singer. After all, I'm older than
most western countries.
