I would like to congradulate McCain’s fellow Democrat Obama for inventing a new concept in the maverick paradigm: Maverick centrism. Yes, maverick centrism looks like real centrism to people who aren’t paying attention, while at the same time allowing Obama to be as liberal as he wants to be.
It’s brilliant.
