Bob Barr and the Libertarians Don’t Exist Either
Ok, what is it with these upstarts? Not only does Bob Barr want to president, but he had the unmitigated gall to go and win the Libertarian Party nomination yesterday.
How is the Master Maverick, John McCain going to continue creating maverick supporters if Bob Barr comes along and tries to make them ordinary supporters of the Libertarian Party? I mean seriously, does this guy think trying to put the country back on track should interfere in any way with McCain’s “It’s all about me” mentality?
Preposterous!
Well then, it’s time for some more Straight Talk denial. We’ll handle these upstarts just like we handled those nasty Constitution Party types: by denying they exist. So, I’ll remind you of the points I discussed before.
Under no circumstances should you post a link to the Libertarian Party Home Page. It’ll blow this whole denial strategy right out of the water.
Do NOT post a link to the Bob Barr ‘08 page either. The temptation to flood this candidate with ordinary donations and punish his ordinary candidacy with overflowing coffers will be too much to bear.
Do not point them at Zazzle.com for Bob Barr buttons. They’ll really help shatter the whole Straight Talk denial thing.
Under no circumstances should you mention Bob Barr is against amnesty, unlike the Master Maverick or his most likely opponent, Obama.
Furthermore, don’t mention that the Libertarians hold positions that would be attractive to the moderates and independents McCain desperately needs to continue poking ordinary conservative voters in the eyes with impunity. It would be awful!
Together, we can deny this twit out of existence, just like we did with that pesky Constitution Party. We really should try this on Obama too.
