John McCain Cheers Own State’s Baseball Team Over Weekend

McCain cheers own state's team at baseball gameJohn McCain took a break from campaigning and attended an Arizona Diamondback’s baseball game this weekend, where he cheered for his own state’s baseball team.  Read more about it here.

It must be a fluke.  I’m sure it was just the fatigue of being deific, his tireless maverick campaigning, berating North Carolina, and long hours on the road that caused this.  I would personally like to reassure the State of Arizona that this is almost certainly a temporary lapse in his maverickness.  I’m absolutely convinced that at some point in the near future he’ll be back to his old self, and trying to ram amnesty bills down your throat like he did three times before with Ted Kennedy.

I’m sure he’ll be booing his home team in no time.  He’s done it for years to his own supporters and party, and there’s no reason to believe he’ll change now.
