Rush Limbaugh Gets It!!!
This is an auspicious day. I truly cannot begin to relate the epic leap forward the cutting-edge paradigm of the 21st century has made, because of an icon who has taken his huge first steps into becoming a happy, well-adjusted maverick supporter: Rush Limbaugh!
I heard it for myself. Rush asked the question on radio: If McCain can be a maverick, why can’t we all be mavericks? Why can’t we all be independents? And the answer is, as I have stated repeatedly: WE CAN! WE SHOULD! IN FACT, WE MUST!!!!
My hero and icon, the Master Maverick, John McCain has been leading by his tireless maverick example for years, demonstrating that he only wants maverick supporters. Now even Rush Limbaugh is getting into the act. If I’m not careful, Rush could easily become the Number One contender for the Bestest #1 Maverick Supporter of John McCain in the Whole Wide World. Only the fact I discovered McCain’s true intention first keeps Limbaugh from taking that title from me now.
In all fairness, I must mention that Rush admitted to finding his position difficult. I can understand. It took me months of twisted pretzelness before I came to the epiphany that brought me to creating this yank site to my idol, John McCain. It took me even longer to realize that the maverick paradigm McCain has spent years inventing can be applied to ANY maverick politician.
So I can sympathize with Rush’s position, because I’ve been there. We’re all pioneering a new paradigm here, but it will work out well in the end. It fact, it should be as obvious as any other natural order by the time we’re done. Maverick representatives and politicians deserve maverick supporters. Ordinary representatives and politicians deserve ordinary supporters. Once everyone in the country realizes this, they will be happier, healthier, and more well adjusted.
Don’t wait. Become maverick today.
Update on May 13, 2008: Sadly, Rush has since relapsed into becoming a reluctant, ordinary McCain supporter again. But I commend him for his first attempt in joining the brave new paradigm of the 21st century, and this blog’s door is always open if he wants to return.
