Today, I’d like to welcome the newest high profile maverick supporters of John McCain to our growing legions:  Linda Daves and the entire North Carolina Republican Party.  Not only did their latest political ad featuring Reverend Wright cause the Master Maverick, John McCain to compliment them in codespeak PUBLICLY, but they responded like true maverick supporters by saying:

“Screw you, we’ll do what we want.” (paraphrased executive summary)

Linda Daves and the entire North Carolina GOP have taken a huge step in joining the happy, well-adjusted political support paradigm of the 21st Century, the maverick supporter.  Not only that, they’ve earned the title of “Bestest #2 Maverick Supporters in the Whole Wide World”, because I’m #1 and always will be.

Together, we can light the way until all of McCain’s unhappy, pretzel-twisted ordinary supporters become maverick supporters just like us.  My hat’s off to you.
